The heart behind this ministry is to help Crossroads' seniors, widows, and single moms with young children with occasional tasks that require manual labor or specialized expertise.  

This ministry is facilitated by an all-volunteer group of men with varied areas of expertise. They are not licensed contractors but have handyman-type skills and a desire to serve and help others. 

This is a ministry of Crossroads Community Church and the church retains sole discretion in determining who and what needs qualify or are eligible for assistance.

Helping our neighbors with everyday needs around the home. This ministry serves seniors, widows, and single moms with home repairs, light yardwork, odd jobs, or a helping hand.



Types of services offered  

•Inside painting/touch up below 10’ feet high
•Minor electrical (repair outlets, light fixtures, bulbs, smoke detectors, ceiling fans (may have height limitations)
•Minor plumbing (leaks, garbage disposal replacement)
•Yard work (cut grass, rake leaves, fertilize)
•Snow shoveling (subject to distance limitations)
•Landscaping (trim trees, bushes) 
•Minor automotive (replace battery, wipers, jump-start)
•Moving (loading/unloading ASSISTANCE - subject to limitations and minimum 2 week notice)
