A two-year generosity initiative to expand impact, strengthen our church, and prepare for the future God is writing.
Crossroads Church,
As we step into this season together, I want to invite you into three simple but powerful practices:
Crossroads is Jesus’ church. It is only ours because we belong to him. And we believe he is calling us to follow him into the future. He is calling us to go FORWARD… Our Lead Pastor, John Snyder, explains to us about the Forward Campaign at Crossroads and how we want to move forward toward together as the Crossroads family!
Together, as a Christ-led community, we are moving FORWARD—expanding the work of Christ at Crossroads Community Church.
We are seeking to fund growth in missions and outreach, expand our campus capacity, reduce debt, and prepare for future ministry opportunities.
FORWARD to greater spiritual impact through world missions and local outreach —10% of all that is given will touch lives for Jesus beyond our walls.
FORWARD to greater campus capacity —adding parking and renovated office space to serve our growing congregation and staff.
FORWARD to greater financial freedom —aiming to reduce our debt by at least half, or even more as God provides, freeing up resources for present and future ministry.
FORWARD to greater future possibilities —positioning our church today for potential future expansion, such as a new auditorium, more Children’s Ministry space, and additional classrooms for spiritual growth.
YOUR COMMITMENT MATTERS
Please pray about how God is calling you to move FORWARD in this season—growing in faith, giving generously, and stepping into your part of the greater story He is writing.
FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
A “One-Fund” campaign means that all the money given will be pooled into one
fund, rather than having a General Ministry Fund and a separate Campaign Fund. The purpose of this is to ensure that all the General Ministry Fund needs (i.e.,Children’s, Youth, Young Adults, Men’s, Women’s, Missions, etc.) are taken care of first before funding the parking lot, debt reduction, and office remodel.
The FORWARD campaign will kick off early February 2026 and will culminate in March of 2028, a two-year campaign.
Presently we do not have enough parking spots for our Sunday morning services, and certainly not enough for our Easter and Christmas Eve services. Thankfully Crossroads owns the 2.7 acre lot north of the present parking lot which allows us to build additional parking in that area. Adequate parking is important as it says, “There is room for you!”
The goal of the FORWARD campaign is to reduce 50% of the debt, which is approximately $2.6 million of the $5.2 million present debt amount. This will free up money for Crossroads to do additional ministry both locally and around the world! If the giving allows us to pay off more than 50%, we will gladly do so!
Currently, Crossroads’ offices are full, including some spaces being shared on a rotational basis by up to three staff members. This renovation will add office space in the upstairs area so that our current and future staff have workspaces inside our church building.
Crossroads is growing, and if we don’t act now, we will stifle growth, which will also reduce the amount of people who will hear about and meet Jesus. Parker’s zip code – 80134 – is the seventh fastest growing zip code in the entire country (not state, but country!), which is evidenced by all the building of new neighborhoods, apartment complexes, and even the widening of Lincoln Avenue in front of Crossroads. We desire to be proactive instead of reactive to all this growth.
The priorities are as follows: 1) General Ministry Fund; 2) Parking lot expansion; 3) Debt reduction; 4) Office renovation. In addition, 10% of all FORWARD money given will go to world missions for impactful projects in Lebanon and Romania.
Once a quarter in our worship services we will be updating the congregation of the recent progress. We will also be sending out periodic updates via email and other methods.
